Anu Aggarwal first appeared in Bollywood through the hit musical romance “Aashiqui,” alongside Rahul Roy. Thanks to its success, she became quite well-known. In a private interview with TopMob, Anu shared something surprising: She hasn’t received 40% of her film earnings yet.

In an interview with TopMob, Anu Aggarwal disclosed that she has yet to receive the complete payment for her work on Aashiqui. She explained, “I haven’t received all the earnings from Aashiqui so far. I was only compensated 60% of what was due. They still owe me 40%.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m often asked about various aspects of life, and recently, someone inquired if I ever requested the remaining balance from a project. To set the record straight, I haven’t, and here’s why: Truth be told, I’ve accumulated quite a bit throughout my numerous ventures. In fact, my modeling career has been particularly fruitful, enabling me to secure brand ambassadorship roles.

The actress went on to say, “I was among the first actors in India to serve as a brand ambassador. Back then, being a brand ambassador wasn’t something actors did. Instead, it was limited to cricket stars such as Sunil Gavaskar and others.

In the same dialogue, Anu Aggarwal pointed out that Aashiqui wasn’t initially anticipated to do well. She explained, “Aashiqui, at the time I signed it, wasn’t really a blockbuster movie in the making, correct? Aashiqui was produced by a director who wasn’t known for commercial films at that moment. Mahesh Bhatt was an art film director, so it wasn’t a film expected to be the next big commercial success.
