EXCLUSIVE: Will Sunny Deol reunite with Shah Rukh Khan after Darr? Jaat actor says ‘It would be…’

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news from the world of Bollywood! Back in 1993, I had the privilege of sharing the silver screen with the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan in the gripping psychological thriller, Darr. Recently, this classic film has been re-released in cinemas, stirring up nostalgia and renewed interest. Amidst the buzz surrounding its revival and the upcoming release of my new movie, Jaat, I had an exclusive chat with TopMob where I expressed my hope for a future collaboration with Shah Rukh once more. In my view, our onscreen reunion would undoubtedly be ‘nice.’

At TopMob’s Masterclass, Sunny Deol was asked about his preference for a two-hero movie. In response, he indicated his desire to work again with Shah Rukh Khan. Sunny stated, “I won’t decide like this with whom I’d work or not… I mean I would love to do it. In fact, I’ve only done one film with Shah Rukh. So we could do another.

The actor expressed, “That would be pleasant since we’re dealing with a distinct era now, compared to the one before.

Sunny noted, “Initially, our directors held complete reign. Nowadays, they have less control, and the narratives aren’t crafted to support the actor’s images as they should.” This emphasizes the importance of such a development.

Speaking about the comeback of multi-starrer and two-hero films, Sunny Deol humorously commented, “Even if you gather numerous stars for a film, without a compelling story, what would be the point?” (laughs)

The Jaat actor commented, “Indeed, everything has its time. Single heroes didn’t work well in the past, but suddenly, multi-starrer films gained popularity and became trendy.

Sunny summarized his thoughts by stating that the pattern was constantly shifting. He felt that the creators adapted their work to meet the preferences of the viewers.
