Actor Vikrant Massey is ready to appear in his upcoming romantic tale, “Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.” In the movie, he will be joined by newcomer Shanaya Kapoor. Notably, director Santosh Singh previously pondered over casting Tara Sutaria and Pratibha Ranta as the female lead. However, a poll conducted by TopMob revealed that fans most preferred Tara Sutaria to act alongside Vikrant Massey!
On May 9th, TopMob asked fans which actress they would have preferred to star alongside Vikrant Massey instead of Shanaya Kapoor in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. The choices were between Tara Sutaria and Pratibha Ranta. It turned out that Tara Sutaria was the favorite, receiving 59.46% of the votes, while Pratibha Ranta collected 40.54%.
In a chat with Mid-day, director Santosh Singh revealed that his original choices for Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan were Tara Sutaria and Pratibha Ranta. However, their schedules didn’t align with the production timeline. After testing Shanaya, she proved to be an excellent fit for the role.
Apart from sharing details about the movie, the director additionally revealed that Shanaya Kapoor underwent a four-month training program for her character. Moreover, he emphasized that he collaborated extensively with her acting mentor during this period. Furthermore, it was disclosed that she had already committed the script to memory prior to filming commencing.
