Actress Kate Mara, previously known for her role as Invisible Woman, discusses whether she and her husband Jamie Bell (who portrayed the Thing) plan to watch the MCU’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” a decade after they starred in Josh Trank’s “Fantastic Four.
In an interview with THR, Kate Mara discusses The Fantastic Four: First Steps, highlighting that it is a distinctly different project compared to Josh Trank’s 2015 Fantastic Four in which she and her husband Jamie Bell portrayed Sue Storm/Invisible Woman and Ben Grimm/The Thing. Mara expresses excitement about the MCU’s reboot and commends Pedro Pascal, who plays Reed Richards, as well as the rest of the cast. Here are some of her remarks:
Mara’s Comments:
– “I think it’s totally different… I’m really excited to see what they do with it.”
– “My family and I are definitely going to watch it.”
– “Pedro Pascal is amazing as Reed Richards. The cast looks fantastic.
I thoroughly enjoy visiting cinemas, and it’s something I truly cherish, especially when my husband Jamie [Bell] and our 11-year-old are by my side. We particularly appreciate experiencing movies like that on a large screen, surrounded by an audience and the delightful aroma of popcorn. Indeed, the experience is quite distinct from ours, so why not indulge? I’m particularly fond of the cast, especially Pedro Pascal, so I would definitely catch the latest Marvel release.
