As a devoted admirer of Bollywood, I can’t help but cherish my encounters with fans and reminisce about the good old days on set. One such unforgettable encounter was at an airport, where a fan, accompanied by her husband and kids, requested me not to act in films like No Entry due to its adult content. It made me chuckle then, and it still does now – imagine a woman asking her husband to leave everything for a film I’m in, only to request the opposite!
One of the most cherished comedy movies in Bollywood and the top-earning film of 2005 is titled “No Entry.” Lately, Fardeen Khan, who played a notable role in this film, disclosed an amusing yet significant interaction with a female admirer. She had asked him to refrain from appearing in films like “No Entry” as it portrayed husband infidelity.
During an interview with Mashable India, Fardeen Khan shared a unique incident that occurred at an airport involving a dedicated fan. Unlike the affection shown towards his films, this particular fan – joined by her husband and children – implored him not to take on a specific movie role.
Reflecting on the event, Khan joked, “Although I’m a big fan of yours, if you were to make another movie like ‘No Entry,’ filled with such inappropriate scenes, I wouldn’t remain your fan.
He mentioned that the woman explained how her husband and kids leave everything else whenever they see this film airing on television. He mentioned she would not have liked the film’s storyline about adultery and cheating.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t help but reminisce about the magical moments I shared on the set of Khel Khel Mein. Working alongside the brilliant Annes Bazmee, the charismatic Salman Khan, and the ever-entertaining Anil Kapoor was more than just a professional experience – it was a journey that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
As a devoted colleague, I can attest to the fact that we shared a lively camaraderie during our filming days, which often led us to erupt in laughter and enjoyment so profoundly that maintaining eye contact during takes became quite a challenge.
Khan reminisced, “I rarely focused on half of the image featuring Anil Kapoor as it often triggered my laughter. To avoid bursting out, I usually looked elsewhere, which is why my interaction with him was limited in this way.
In 2005, a comedy movie titled “No Entry” hit the screens. Directed by Anees Bazmee, it subtly addressed serious themes such as infidelity with a humorous touch. Alongside Fardeen, the film boasted star performances from Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitly, and others in key roles.
