2025 January 9th is the day of the birthdays for cousins Farah Khan and Farhan Akhtar. In honor of this special day, Farah gifted Farhan something very special – a DVD of the movie Kranti, which she fondly referred to as a piece of their childhood. Zoya Akhtar shared a sweet snapshot of their birthday celebration on the same day.
Farah Khan posted a video on Instagram that captured moments from her and Farhan Akhtar’s birthday party. In the footage, you can see the director of Don 3 unwrapping a gift as Farah’s voice is heard saying, “This is Farhan’s 51st birthday present.
Immediately upon spotting the DVD, Farhan burst into laughter and began to sing the Kranti Kranti song. His singing persisted as he unwrapped other presents. Farhan’s wife Shibani Akhtar and sister Zoya Akhtar, who were in the video too, couldn’t help but join in the laughter.
The title said, ‘What should I give my brother who already has it all? A slice of our childhood, naturally! Happy birthday, @faroutakhtar. Continue your revolution #capri9.

At the moment, Zoya Akhtar shared an adorable photo from a birthday celebration on her Instagram. In the image, Farhan Akhtar and Farah Khan are seen beaming broadly while posing together. The cakes meant for them were placed on a table before them. Coincidentally, Anusha Dandekar, who shares the same birthday, is also pictured with them.
