The widely popular MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, which once seemed destined for failure but later became a massive success for Square Enix, is eagerly awaited by many when it comes to a mobile version. A recent listing on the Chinese iOS App Store suggests that we might be able to play Final Fantasy XIV as early as August 29th.
A Realm Reborn, which has since earned critical acclaim.
It’s not surprising that the upcoming mobile version of Final Fantasy XIV is generating excitement among players, given its longstanding popularity due to frequent expansions and updates. Limit Break
There’s been much curiosity about how fully-featured Final Fantasy XIV will be when it reaches the public. However, I believe a late August launch is quite likely, though since Tencent’s Lightspeed is managing the port, an early release for Chinese players could also be possible.
Based on a recent interview with series alumnus Naoki Yoshida, it seems that Final Fantasy XIV Mobile hasn’t been a new idea but rather something in consideration for quite some time now. Regardless, I believe we can all anticipate a well-crafted and lovingly developed port when it finally releases, given the grandeur and attention to detail surrounding its announcement.
