Pictures has unveiled the trailer for Cregger’s eagerly awaited next project, “Weapons”. This sophomore film is a chilling mystery with an engaging plotline and a talented ensemble cast. The initial teaser effectively builds anticipation for what appears to be one of the year’s most intriguing films.
Intriguingly set is the plot of “Weapons”. At precisely 2:17 AM one fateful night, an entire school class mysteriously awakes, exits their homes, and vanishes into the darkness, never to be found again. The town quickly accuses their teacher, prompting her to clear her name in this investigation. Cregger labels his film as “larger”, “stranger”, and “more convoluted” than “Barbarian”. Here’s hoping its narrative is also more unified. It boasts a strong cast with Josh Brolin, Julia Gardner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan in leading roles.
