As a die-hard sneakerhead with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Jordan Brand never disappoints when it comes to celebrating anniversaries! The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Royal” is yet another testament to their commitment to keeping the fire burning for fans like me.
Product Name: Air Jordan 1 High ’85, Royal Colorway
In approximately a few weeks, we’ll be stepping into the year 2025, and Jordan Brand is gearing up for an extraordinary year as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 with a series of thrilling launches. Joining the long list of speculations and sneak peeks, we now have an early glance at the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Royal,” which surprisingly hadn’t been rumored before this reveal.
According to Chase B’s announcement, the duo will feature the classic “Bred” style on the original ’85 design of the Air Jordan 1, replacing the cancelled Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Royal” release that was expected at the end of October. Consistent with expectations, the shoe has a leather upper in black and “Varsity Royal” blue, and the familiar Wings logo reappears on the collar.
Currently, it’s undetermined if the “Royal” version of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 will be released soon. Keep an eye out for further announcements, including potential images, as we anticipate the colorway to become available within the next one to two years through Nike SNKRS and selected retailers, with a starting price tag of $250 USD.
