As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless virtual worlds and real-life sneaker hunts, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation upon hearing the rumors of the NOCTA x Nike Air Max Plus collaboration! My sneaker collection has seen its fair share of iconic collaborations, but the thought of adding these three colorways to my lineup is sending my heart racing.
Drake’s NOCTA label consistently collaborates with Nike for each season, and recently restarted the launch of its Hot Step 2 design by debuting the black version last week. More Hot Step 2 shoes are expected to follow, but a new shoe collaboration has surfaced.
It’s been reported this week that a fresh collaboration between NOCTA and Nike on the Air Max Plus sneaker has surfaced, showcased in three distinct colorways: black, off-white, and blue. A sneak peek at these pairs reveals that each color scheme has been carefully crafted. The black version features a metallic silver accent at the toe cap, while the blue pair blends ocean blue with a substantial amount of black on the sole unit and medial forefoot. Notably, the black and blue versions of the Air Max Plus feature new designs on the upper, possibly as a tribute to the NOCTA logo seen on the tongue. Additional NOCTA branding is evident on the sockliner and the debossed toe cap.
As I’m typing this, neither NOCTA nor Nike have revealed any details about their collaboration centering around the Air Max Plus in these three colorways. Keep an eye out for news, including a full gallery of images, as we expect the shoes to become available on Nike SNKRS and select stores in 2025.
