This week, Glaser graced another prestigious event in Hollywood, as she took the stage to kick off The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment gala, sponsored by Lifetime. The occasion took place at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday evening, gathering a star-studded audience that counted Nicole Kidman, Selena Gomez, and Jennifer Lawrence among its esteemed guests.

Two months back, I found myself basking in the glow of the Emmy Nominees Night bash alongside the seasoned comedian Glaser. With a gleam in her eye, she openly declared her readiness for the Golden Globes. “I believe they made an astute choice,” she asserted, following swiftly on the heels of the announcement. “I know just what it takes to make it exceptional. I’m well aware of the labor involved. I treat every task with utmost seriousness, understanding that the role at hand requires a delicate balance. I aim to both mock Hollywood and adore it, while expressing my desire for approval, yet also questioning the purpose of our gathering.

Glaser expressed her belief that now is the ideal moment for her to appear on stage in a notoriously challenging venue for comedy. She believes that her 21-year career has equipped her with the skills needed for this challenge, as she has already faced difficult rooms before. She feels confident and well-prepared for this new opportunity.
