Over the weekend, Universal revealed through their Halloween Horror Nights account on X (previously Twitter), that this year’s events will include a haunted house based on FNaF (Five Nights at Freddy’s). This attraction will be available in both the Hollywood and Orlando iterations of the Horror Nights experience. Therefore, whether you’re on either coast, Freddy Fazbear and his companions are ready to greet you.
Unfortunately, we don’t have additional details just yet, but rest assured that “Five Nights at Freddy’s” is set to be showcased in an innovative manner at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. With a new film in development, fans of the series should stay tuned for further updates.
From its initial video game launch by Scott Cawthon in the summer of 2014, the horror sensation known as Five Nights at Freddy’s has grown over the past decade into a massive franchise. This growth includes multiple video game sequels and spinoffs, a collection of books, an assortment of merchandise, and more. In 2023, the fanbase expanded even further with the release of the first Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, featuring Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard, which premiered in theaters and on Peacock.
2025 is shaping up to be a wild ride for gamers like me, as the chaos of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 continues! Last year, Universal and Blumhouse Productions announced that this horror classic would grace our cinema screens on December 5, mere weeks after Halloween. Back in April, we were treated to a sneak peek at the film’s teaser trailer, showcasing familiar faces like Hutcherson, Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio, as well as newcomers such as Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, and Mckenna Grace.
Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Parks this fall.
