Ford Unveils Its Latest Special Edition Bronco

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for automotive history and off-road adventures, the mere mention of the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition has me revving my virtual engine in anticipation! The fusion of nostalgia, performance, and modern technology in this limited-edition beauty is akin to finding that elusive rare item in an old-school video game – it’s a treasure indeed.

Ford is resurrecting a legendary name by launching the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition, honoring the iconic Baja-winning Stroppe Baja Bronco from the 1960s and 1970s. This exclusive Bronco edition merges the fast desert racing heritage of its predecessor with contemporary off-road performance features.

According to Jason Hyde, Bronco brand manager, the freshly introduced Bill Stroppe Special Edition of the new Bronco embodies the essence of the original Baja Bronco. It showcases improved capabilities such as Fox Internal Bypass Dampers for off-road use in deserts, a standard 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine, and the Baja G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) Mode. Unique to this edition is its two-door design, which takes over the Wildtrak’s spot in Ford’s Bronco lineup. This model is geared for off-roading with features including a Stabilizer Bar Disconnect, HOSS 3.0 suspension, and 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires.

Remarkably, the exterior of the Bronco Stroppe Special Edition boasts a contemporary interpretation of the original Stroppe livery, featuring hues such as Code Orange, Oxford White, and Atlas Blue. Its daring design showcases squared-off high-clearance fenders, a matte black hood, and 17-inch wheels compatible with beadlocks. Distinctive branding like “Stroppe Special Edition” and “Bronco” emblems enhance its classic aesthetic.

Inside, the cabin showcases Code Orange highlights everywhere, including grab handles and the G.O.A.T. mode control, reflecting its racing legacy. “This color scheme and design is a distinctive homage to the Baja Bronco, and it acknowledges the brand’s history and performance,” commented North American Design Director Gordon Platto.

As I’m typing this, there is no information available about the price and when it will be on sale for the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition.
