As a long-time Fortnite player with countless hours under my belt, I’ve seen the game evolve through various themes and collaborations. Some have been exciting and fresh, while others left me scratching my head. The latest rumor of a Cybertruck x Fortnite crossover, however, has me feeling a little disillusioned.

As we move forward towards the anticipated Marvel-themed Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, there’s still a bit of fuel left for Season 3. The new chapter has been quite controversial among players, with the car chaos of this season causing strong opinions to divide them.

The developers have faced challenges in keeping the balance between the new cars in Rocket League, resulting in a rollercoaster ride of adjustments – from nerfs to buffs. As we approach the end of the season, another vehicle-related update may still be on the horizon, alas, an unwanted collaboration for many players.

As an avid Fortnite gamer, I’ve heard some exciting rumors circulating around the community. Insider leakers like HYPEX are dropping hints about a potential collaboration between Fortnite and Tesla’s Cybertruck. While the details are still vague, we can imagine that this crossover might bring a powerful and unique version of the iconic vehicle into the game. Based on the artwork, it’s clear that the Cybertruck logo will be making an appearance on the map.

In Chapter 5 Season 3 of the game, we’ve already been given a collection of high-end vehicles. The Cybertruck is just another addition to this lineup. However, you won’t need to defeat a pixelated version of Elon Musk to obtain the keys. Additionally, be prepared for typical corporate practices by purchasing costly Cybertruck-themed accessories in the shop.

In June, iFireMonkey revealed a Cybertruck package, containing the Double Agent Hush Outfit, Double Agent Stripe Back Bling, Double Agent Wildcard Outfit, and Double Agent Hard Case Back Bling as its items. While some are content with Musk’s absence in the collaboration, it hasn’t been well-received by all.

In response to the latest collaboration, an unhappy gamer expressed, “This is the first team-up that has me hoping this game will fade away.”; another commented, “Fortnite’s still trying to stay relevant, but 💀 (skull emoji)”; and a third exclaimed, “We couldn’t care less about it.”

The unconfirmed report about the upcoming Cybertruck variant in Fortnite is yet to be released, and it seems its appeal may not be universally accepted. With Mad Max crossovers being skipped this season in favor of Pirates of the Caribbean and possibly Cybertruck, this map update promises to leave a memorable mark on Fortnite’s history as one of its most unpredictable.
