As a seasoned Fortnite player with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest collaboration between Fortnite and Fall Guys has certainly added a new twist to the game. The Where We Fallin’ challenges are a fun addition, but they’ve also introduced a potential problem – snipers lurking around Classy Courts.
Although some players might have moved on from Fall Guys by now, Mediatonic’s free-to-play platformer continues to strive for relevance in 2024. Following Epic Games’ acquisition of publishing rights in 2021, it was inevitable that the game would eventually merge with Fortnite, one of gaming’s most prominent platforms.
The third season of Fortnite’s Chapter 5 has been quite extraordinary. It introduced Mad Max-style vehicles and then followed up with strange partnerships from Pirates of the Caribbean, and more recently, a collaboration with Fall Guys. As we prepare for the Marvel-themed Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic Games is striving to keep our interest in the ongoing season.
Fortnite x Fall Guys collab has a potential problem
The Fall Guys loot sure is something…

If you’ve taken a ride on the Battle Bus after August 6th, you might spot fresh tasks connected to an aerial obstacle course hovering above Classy Courts. To participate in the “Where We Fallin'” challenges, simply find the golden statue resembling a bean and interact with it to be lifted up. Once you’ve successfully navigated the course, you’ll gently return to the ground.
In my gaming experience, I stumbled upon an issue in one of the levels where, upon returning to the statue for my hard-earned loot, sometimes the items can get stuck underneath the statue due to a clipping problem. It’s not mandatory to go back to the statue to pick up your rewards, but if you do, be aware of this oddity.
As someone who has spent years navigating through various training grounds, I must say that my recent encounter at Classy Courts leaves me with a feeling of unease. It appears that this once tranquil spot has morphed into something far from peaceful – a sniper’s haven, it seems. The Where We Fallin’ course, the only one available here, is now buzzing with activity, and the whispers of snipers lurking nearby are hard to ignore. I can’t help but feel that my every move could be under watchful eyes as I make my descent from the course. This transformation has left me with a sense of unease, making it challenging to enjoy the training experience that was once so inviting and welcoming.
In a different Reddit post, an upset fan expressed, “I can’t believe Epic Games didn’t anticipate this or provide temporary invulnerability for completing these tasks. The entire day, players have been hanging around the statues, just waiting 😫.”
As a gamer, I find myself often encountering comments like this: “Just pitiful losers who resort to cheap tactics for kills” and another one that goes, “Frankly, those players should take a hike, why? If you’re truly skilled, you don’t need to camp.” It’s unfortunate, but it seems there’s not much I can do to avoid these ‘sweats’.
It’s uncertain if Epic plans to tackle the Classy Court campers in Fall Guys, but for now, it’s wise to stay alert as you chase after the rare Fall Guys backpack. Here’s hoping that more players will gather to counteract these unfair campers.
