As a seasoned gamer with a keen eye for unique and culturally significant designs, I find myself utterly captivated by the Minase M-3 “Shiro” timepiece. Having traversed countless digital worlds, I’ve come to appreciate the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics, and this watch is no exception. The intricate lacquerwork pattern on the dial, reminiscent of the delicate details in my favorite role-playing games, adds a touch of elegance that transcends the ordinary.
In collaboration with Fratello yet again, the independent Japanese watch brand Minase unveiled their fresh joint project, the M-3 model named “Shiro”. This particular reference has been exclusively accessible in Japan up until now.
In Japanese culture, “Shiro” signifies a symbolic color representing purity and spirituality for quite some time. True to its name, this timepiece showcases a white dial adorned with an intricate pattern. This pattern is meticulously crafted using traditional Japanese lacquerwork, lending the dial a unique, silvery sheen. The hands and hour markers are filled with luminescent material, adding facets to them, and the Minase logo is tastefully applied.
Wrapped in stainless steel, this watch boasts a width of 39mm, following the distinctive teardrop shape of the M-3 series. Inside ticks a modified Sellita SW200-1 movement, stripped of its date function, offering a steady 42 hours of operation. A denim blue buffalo leather strap adds the final touch, exuding an air of casual elegance and sophistication.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that you can now reserve the Minase M-3 “Shiro” timepiece, priced at approximately $2,746 USD or €2,470 EUR, through Fratello’s online store! Hurry, this offer is valid until September 24th.
