Gabby Windey, the previous co-star of ‘The Bachelorette’ who triumphed in season three of ‘The Traitors’, has been chosen to host the reality dating show ‘Love Overboard‘ on Hulu, produced by Alex Cooper’s Unwell Productions and Jeff Jenkins Productions.
Hey there! I’m Windey, a podcast host and content creator who happens to have graced the screens of ABC’s hit shows like “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”. In fact, I was among the two co-leads for season 19, and I even danced my way onto “Dancing with the Stars”.
Titled “Love Overboard,” set to premiere on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally in 2026, this reality series invites singles to search for a potential romantic partner while sailing on a lavish yacht. The show’s description goes as follows: “Throughout the voyage, love blossoms; friendships develop; and hearts are broken. Ultimately, only one couple will emerge victorious. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left adrift?
2024 marked the debut of Gabby Windey’s podcast titled Long Winded with Gabby Windey. Initially known as Overboard for Love, Cooper’s Hulu series has since been renamed. Alongside her husband, Matt Kaplan, Cooper will serve as executive producer alongside Mina Lefebre, Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik, Jason Ehrlich, Ross Weintraub, and Reinout Oerlemans on this new project.
In August 2023, Cooper started up The Unwell Network. As highlighted in a feature article for The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper expressed her aspirations for The Unwell Network as follows: “My intention is to grow this business… It’s amazing what we have accomplished in just a year, from selling out shows across seven cities to organizing small events that have united thousands of women and establishing Unwell as a brand that can host parties without my direct involvement. My ultimate goal is to become the most influential content creator globally.
Following the release of her documentary, “Call Her Alex,” in June, Cooper’s business partnership with Hulu has persisted.
