Following their reunion last October for a second collection of workwear clothing, the Danish label GANNI and the British outdoor clothing brand Barbour are teaming up again for a third time, unveiling a fresh line of eye-catching pieces.
As a gamer, I’d be thrilled to share that I’ve got my hands on a fresh nine-piece collection, crafted from organic waxed cotton and recycled polyamide. This set includes two updated versions of timeless trench, duffle, and parka designs, along with an innovative Spey-inspired anorak, available in both black and brown hues.
Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of GANNI, expressed her excitement about continuing the partnership with Barbour. “This collaboration is a celebration of our friendship, our shared communities, and the unique fusion of our worlds,” she said. “Delving into Barbour’s archives to reinvent classic styles with a GANNI touch has been an enjoyable experience, and we are eagerly anticipating how people will connect with these designs.
As a Barbour enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Nicola Brown, our designer, highlighted that this season, we’ve amplified the tartan element, drawing strongly on Barbour’s rich Scottish roots. At the same time, it infuses the lively and timeless essence that GANNI is known for. This collaboration has led us to a first – expanding our accessories line with Wax Tote Bags, perfectly encapsulating the carefree, whimsical spirit of this collection.
