GANNI to Make Its Paris Fashion Week Debut

As a fashion enthusiast who’s been following GANNI for quite some time now, I must say their decision to shift to Paris Fashion Week is nothing short of exhilarating! Having grown up in Scandinavia, I’ve always admired the brand’s unique blend of Danish minimalism and playful creativity. The fact that they took a break to support emerging designers, focusing on sustainable textiles, only adds to my respect for their commitment to responsibility in the fashion industry.

Ganni is planning to move its Spring/Summer 2023 runway show to Paris Fashion Week, marking a change from its usual venue at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Interestingly, the brand did not participate in the last two seasons while it was on hiatus. During this time, Ganni collaborated with upcoming Nordic designers for their Fabrics of the Future exhibition, which emphasized environmentally friendly fabrics.

The permanent addition to Paris Fashion Week’s schedule will officially be introduced on Tuesday, September 24. This day marks its first appearance as a regular feature.

“CEO Laura du Rusquec, who assumed leadership in April, stated that since Ganni has become internationally recognized, exhibiting at Paris during our phase of expansion feels like a natural progression for our brand’s value and reach.”

The move arrives as part of GANNI’s strategic plan to expand its presence on a global scale.

“In Paris, we have a unique opportunity to showcase our collections on a worldwide scale, and we’re thrilled to share with you our SS25 line, as well as our continuous dedication to ethical practices within the fashion world,” said du Rusquec.
