As a seasoned gamer who grew up in the vibrant streets of San Francisco, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when I see Gap’s 55th anniversary bubble logo hoodie collection. The colors, the design, and the font – they all take me back to the days of my youth, cruising around the city in my DeLorean or battling it out in arcades like Rocket’s or Chung-King.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but get excited about August 22nd! That’s because it’s the day we celebrate an incredible milestone – Gap’s 55th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, they’re taking a trip down memory lane and celebrating their rich history.
The hoodies appear in shades of red, yellow, blue, and black too – each color representing the facade of our initial physical store, a tribute to its design.
In my opinion as a passionate fan, these vintage-inspired graphics are drawn from The Gap’s historical collection. The crewnecks, available in vibrant yellow and blue shades, proudly display “Gap 1969” in crisp white font across the center. Conversely, the zip-ups boast a bold red “1969” embroidery on the chest, superimposed over The Gap insignia, and showcase a larger insignia at the back with the phrase “American classic since 1969.”
Check out the gallery above to find Gap’s 55th anniversary bubble logo hoodies. You can grab one for yourself starting August 27, both at Gap Shinjuku and on their official online store, along with these additional locations.
