This group of rising actors have crossed their latest project off their lists.
The post-apocalyptic comic book adaptation created by Garth Ennis, titled Crossed, has finalized its main cast, featuring Devin Druid from 13 Reasons Why and Ash Santos from American Horror Story in leading roles.
As an ardent fan, I find myself immersed in the gripping tale where I embody two pivotal characters – Stan and Cindy, heading a band of unlikely allies. We’ve been thrust together in a desperate bid to navigate our way north, fleeing from the chilling horde known as The Crossed. In this haunting landscape, those afflicted by an enigmatic illness bear a mark of a cross on their foreheads, transforming them into ruthless beings driven solely by their darkest instincts. It’s like living in a world where zombies retain their intellect but have become psychotic killers instead.
This production features a diverse ensemble of characters who are fellow survivors, with Ethan Jones Romero (known from “Law & Order”) portraying Thomas, Kyla Hee (familiar from “Psychosis”) as Kelly, Chido Nwokocha (recognized in “Top Gun: Maverick”) as Kitrick, Spenser Granese playing Brett, Bob Morley (acclaimed in “The 100”) as Randall, Ana Mulvoy Ten (noted in “American Crime”) as Sheena, Steven Hack (from “Little Death”) as ‘Geoff, and Lorenzo Ross making his debut as Patrick.
In the role of the antagonist known as Horsecock, Owen Harn (from “Cobra Kai”) leads a group of infected individuals called the Crossed. Joining him in this tale are Fedor Steer, formerly seen in “Haunted Mansion,” playing Face, and Kelvin Adekunle from “City of Love,” portraying Stump.
The cast also includes Angie Campbell as Amy and Peter Falls as Joel.
The project is currently undergoing post-production, as Six Studios has taken it up following the completion of principal photography in Los Angeles. The script was penned by Ennis, who drew inspiration from the first ten issues he published between 2008 and 2010. Rob Jabbaz handled directing duties.
For quite a while now, enthusiasts of the comic series ‘Crossed‘ have been discussing potential cast members. In an effort to assist all fans in navigating the impending apocalypse more effectively, producer Carl Choi from Six Studios is thrilled to unveil our talented cast who are bringing Garth’s exhilarating and terror-inducing comic series to life on screen,” said Carl Choi.
This project’s imaginative crew is made up of cinematographer Benji Bakshi (known for his work on “Bone Tomahawk”), production designer Freddy Waff (famous for “Megalopolis”), stunt coordinator Steve Brown (notable for “Avatar: The Way of Water”), editor Greg D’Auria (who worked on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”), and David Guglielmo who handled casting duties.
