As a long-time Spidey fan since the days of Tobey Maguire swinging through New York City, I can attest to the evolution and excitement that the Spider-Man universe continues to bring. Andrew Garfield’s humorous jab at his past encounter with a rhinoceros-suited villain in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” was a delightful reminder of the camaraderie among the web-slingers, and it made “No Way Home” even more spectacular.
In the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Andrew Garfield playfully criticized his limited number of villains he fought, specifically Paul Giamatti as the Rhino in a suit, during a conversation about Spidey baddies with other heroes. This lighthearted jab was at “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and the diverse array of past Spider-Man movies that made “No Way Home” one of the top Spider-Man films ever produced. However, the Spider-Man universe requires growth, whether through an upcoming “Spider-Man 4” or on Sony’s side, where villains remain active. The upcoming movie “Kraven the Hunter,” starring Aaron Taylor Johnson, is set to release in December, and will showcase a more refined Rhino character, played by Alessandro Nivola, as teased in the new trailer. This updated version of the Rhino looks quite menacing! Check it out now!
