As a diehard admirer of Govinda, I was on pins and tails when I spotted Shatrughan Sinha outside the hospital where our beloved star was being treated. After some time, they both stepped in for their visit. Later, with a sigh of relief, Shatrughan shared updates with the media about Govinda’s condition, stating that the doctor confirmed he was doing just fine and would be discharged within 1-2 days. The incident had occurred, but there were no doubts or second thoughts – he arrived at the appropriate place at exactly the right moment.
This afternoon, Govinda was urgently taken to Criticare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai due to an emergency operation following an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound with his legally owned firearm. Fortunately, he is now in a good condition and making a speedy recovery. In a message shared by Krishna Hegde, a leader from Shiv Sena, Govinda expressed his thanks for the kindness shown to him by his supporters and acknowledged the excellent care received from the doctors who removed the bullet.
According to The Indian Express, the incident transpired as Govinda prepared to depart for Kolkata. His manager, Shashi Sinha, verified that the injury was situated beneath Govinda’s left knee, and his daughter, Tina Ahuja, was present at the hospital with him. In an unfortunate turn of events, while his licensed revolver was stored in an almirah, it accidentally fell, resulting in a gunshot.
The injury took place just beneath Govinda’s left knee, luckily the bullet has been taken out since then. His manager mentioned that Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, was with him at the hospital. Although he went through an incident, Govinda is now in a stable state, conversing with everyone and progressing towards recovery.
