Recently, beloved actor and dancer Govinda has been making news due to an incident where his gun accidentally discharged. This unfortunate event led to an injury on his leg, prompting him to be quickly taken to a hospital in Mumbai. Since then, family members and fellow celebrities from the film industry have been regularly visiting Govinda at the hospital to inquire about his wellbeing. Shilpa Shetty, who worked with Govinda in the movie ‘Gambler’, paid him a visit at the hospital to get information on his current health status.
A video posted on Instagram shows Shilpa Shetty exiting her car outside the hospital where Govinda is currently receiving treatment for his gunshot wound. Surrounded by enthusiastic fans eager to capture a glimpse, she navigated through them and headed towards the hospital entrance. Afterward, she turned back to address the waiting photographers.

Shilpa Shetty and Govinda have appeared in several films together within the Hindi film industry. Some of their collaborative projects are Gambler (1995), Haathkadi (1995), Chhote Sarkar (1996), and Pardesi Babu (1998).
Previously, well-known personalities such as David Dhawan, Shatrughan Sinha, Raveena Tandon, and Rajpal Yadav visited Criticare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, where Govinda was admitted. It has been confirmed by his wife, Sunita Ahuja, that the actor will be leaving the hospital on October 4 (Friday). This update about his health was shared with the media by her.
Sunita informed us that he’s doing well and should be released between noon and 1 PM tomorrow. Afterward, the actor will go back home following his hospital discharge.
On October 1st, as Govinda was gearing up to leave for Kolkata, an unfortunate incident occurred at his residence: it appears that a piece of his gun’s safety mechanism malfunctioned.
Following his operation, the main actor from Hero No 1., also known as him, encountered questioning by the Juhu police concerning an unintended gunshot incident. It is said that at the time of the accident, he was cleaning his handgun, which unfortunately discharged due to being unlocked, causing a leg wound.
In terms of his professional career, Govinda is particularly renowned for films such as Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Partner, Swarg, Bhagam Bhaag, Saajan Chale Sasural, Dulhe Raja, Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare, Rajaji and various others.
