As a seasoned gamer and fashion enthusiast with a soft spot for cinematic storytelling and intrigue, I was immediately drawn to GR10K’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, “Incognito.” The campaign’s fusion of fashion and film noir imagery struck a chord with my personal experiences, reminding me of the thrill of immersing myself in the worlds of Georges Franju’s “Les Yeux Sans Visage” and Mark Romanek’s “One Hour Photo.”


The Fall/Winter 2024 collection of GR10K, named “Incognito,” ventures into the realm of minimalist mysteries, merging fashion and suspenseful storytelling. This intriguing line draws inspiration from films such as “Eyes Without a Face” by Georges Franju and “One Hour Photo” by Mark Romanek. The campaign unfolds an enigmatic suburban plot that pushes the boundaries of conventional fashion photography.

This assembly promotes a “hidden sophistication,” focusing on understated design and inconspicuousness as a reaction to societal pressures and advanced technology. Clothing items are engineered to harmonize with surroundings while still expressing individuality, showcasing technical jackets adorned with plastic details, bold hues, and intricate layering.

The campaign imagery showcases key pieces include the Europrotect jackets that add rigidity to sweatshirt designs, parkas engineered for concealment and nondescript wool outerwear that serves as a canvas for self-expression. The color palette ranges from muted tones to unexpected pops, creating a gothic yet contemporary aesthetic.
