As a dedicated K-pop fan, I’m absolutely thrilled about the Grammy Museum’s latest commitment to showcasing exhibits and programming surrounding my beloved genre! The announcement of the new Hybe exhibit is a game-changer for me and many other fans. Being able to see outfits and accessories from our favorite artists like BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow x Together, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, Zico, fromis_9, Boynextdoor, TWS, &Team, Illit, and Katseye up close is an experience I never thought I’d have.

The Grammy Museum is amping up its K-pop programming for 2024.

Last week, the Los Angeles museum situated in the downtown area made an announcement about its latest exhibit dedicated to K-pop, which is a commitment that will last for two years. This new exhibit will showcase artists affiliated with Hybe, a renowned Korean entertainment company. Additionally, the museum has arranged two upcoming events, where fans can look forward to performances by popular K-pop groups Ateez and Zerobaseone.

In collaboration with the Grammy Museum and the renowned Korean entertainment company, an upcoming exhibit named “Hybe: Shaping the Music World, A Pop-Up at the Grammy Museum” is scheduled to debut on August 2. This captivating exhibition will delve into and preserve the influence and history of Hybe, highlighting its trailblazing achievements and inventive creativity as a pioneering global entertainment powerhouse.

As a passionate gamer and music enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the Grammy Museum has recently unveiled a new exhibition featuring some of my favorite Hybe artists. These include BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow x Together, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, Zico, fromis_9, Boynextdoor, TWS, &Team, Illit, and Katseye. So, if you’re a fan or just curious about their music, this is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in their artistry!

In this event, fans will have the exclusive opportunity to witness the outfits showcased in “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” by BTS, “Maestro” by Seventeen, “Sugar Rush Ride” by Tomorrow x Together, “Sweet Venom” by Enhypen, and “Easy” by Le Sserafim. Additionally, accessories and stage attire belonging to Zico, fromis_9, Boynextdoor, TWS &Team, and Illit will be displayed alongside these ensembles for the very first time.

Visitors can enjoy various interactive experiences at the exhibit besides just viewing the displays. There are sing-along and dance rooms where fans can let loose, a dedicated fan area, a room showcasing BTS’ 2022 Grammy performance of “Butter” in Mono to Immersive formats, a photo booth enabling fans to take pictures next to their favorite artists, and access to exclusive video content.

“At the Grammy Museum, we’re delighted to offer a platform that, thanks to Hybe’s efforts, ignites creativity and passion that knows no bounds in terms of age, gender, or location. Our institution is excited to be part of an environment where fans can freely express their love for K-pop and connect more deeply with their beloved idols.”

On August 1st, the opening event for the Hybe exhibit will feature the museum’s Global Spin Live series, where Hybe artist TWS will give a live performance.

This month, the Grammy Museum will hold a discussion with K-pop band Ateez on its last day, marking the finale of their ongoing pop-up exhibition: “KQ ENT. (Ateez & xikers): A Grammy Museum Pop-Up.” The pop-up, which is the first K-pop event hosted by the museum, began in April, preceding Ateez’s Coachella performance.

At the display, there were ensembles and accessories belonging to Ateez and their label companions xikers showcased. Notably present was the primary attire from Ateez’s 2023 album, THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL, which granted these international celebrities their initial Billboard No. 1 position in December.

On July 22, fans can look forward to an up-close and personal discussion involving the eight members of the boy group: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They will share insights into their music, professional journeys, creative methods, and other fascinating topics.

On the eve of KCON’s debut in Los Angeles, Zerobaseone, a popular boy band, is scheduled to appear at the museum for a live performance. This concert is included in the museum’s ongoing series, Global Spin Live, which highlights international music acts.

The nine-member K-pop boy band Zerobaseone is managed by the entertainment company WakeOne. They were formed through the South Korean music competition show “Boys Planet.” Their lineup includes members Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yu Jin.

At the July 25 gathering, the musicians are expected to share insights about their blossoming music careers and unveil their newest tunes.

From August 2nd to September 15th, the exhibit “Hybe: We Believe in Music” will be featured at the Grammy Museum. The cost for admission is $20 when you purchase a regular museum ticket. For further details, please visit the museum’s website.

The tickets for “A Conversation with Ateez and Global Spin Live: Zerobaseone” have run out, but fans have the option to sign up for a waiting list for each event.
