Gucci Names Demna New Artistic Director

In a released statement, Gucci and its parent company Kering acknowledged that Demna has significantly reshaped contemporary luxury, gaining international acclaim and solidifying his influence within the fashion industry.

Demna, known simply by his first name, has spent a decade at Balenciaga under Kering’s ownership. He carries the prestigious role of Artistic Director with him.

He expressed his genuine enthusiasm about becoming part of the Gucci team, stating, ‘I feel privileged to add my efforts to a brand I hold in high esteem and have long admired.’
