Despite Amazon not revealing any information about the project at CinemaCon, a recent report suggests that Guy Ritchie, known for directing films like “Snatch” and “The Gentlemen,” is in negotiations to take over as director from Doug Liman. Will Beall, who has worked on projects such as “Aquaman,” “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” and “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” is penning the script for this film. If these reports are true, it would mark a reunion for Ritchie with both Amazon Prime Video and “Road House” actor Jake Gyllenhaal, following their 2023 war movie, “The Covenant.

Released last year, “Road House” was directed by Doug Liman, known for films like “The Bourne Identity” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”.
