Whether you emerge victorious or not, the key is to persist until Moros, the embodiment of Doom, appears on the game over screen.
After his intervention, you’ll find him at the Crossroads, ready to assist you in breaking the curse. To achieve this, you need to discover the ‘Breaking an Unyielding Bond’ Recipe in Hecate’s Cauldron. To accomplish that, you must collect the necessary components:
- 2x Lotus – Can be found in Oceanus
- 2x Moss – From short visits to the Surface
- 2x Nightshade – Can be dug up using the Silver Spade in Erebus
- 2x Thalamus – Acquired using the Silver Spade tool inside Chaos’ realm

The ultimate boss of this area is none other than Polyphemus, the Cyclops, so be sure to gear up for his powerful assaults.
In the second zone on the Surface lies the Thessalian Rifts, a region that was submerged by Poseidon as a barricade against Cronos’ forces advancing towards the Mountain. The formidable boss in this area is Erys, who can be quite daunting for those new to combat.
Mount Olympus
After Polyphemus and Erys are vanquished, it’s high time to explore the newest part of Hades II. Mount Olympus, once a place held in great esteem as the home of the Greek gods, is now a battle-scarred landscape controlled by Chronos’ followers and shrouded in a frozen chill.
In this critical phase, players need to gear up for the numerous obstacles ahead. Be aware of the falling rubble, it appears a massive conflict is taking place at the mountain peak’s summit.
In this region, the ultimate adversary is Prometheus, the Titan known for stealing the divine fire from Mount Olympus. He’s a tough nut to crack and it’s crucial to understand his attack patterns before attempting to defeat him. You may need several attempts to emerge victorious, but at least you now know who’s standing by in the finale. The new Nocturnal Arms, the Black Coat, might offer some assistance in the challenge ahead.
This isn’t yet the top layer of Hades II; instead, you’ll find the Summit there, where Zeus and the Olympians are currently battling against Chronos’ troops. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to visit it until its significant update arriving early next year.
