In a shift within the management structure, John Matts has been promoted to the position of president at Hallmark Media, which oversees the Hallmark Channel. Prior to this role, Matts served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Hallmark Media, having joined the company in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In his fresh position, Matt is responsible for managing advertising sales, culture, distribution, finance, research, and strategic insights. He will be overseeing these areas under the leadership of Mike Perry, CEO of Hallmark Cards. Meanwhile, Darren Abbott, who serves as Hallmark’s chief brand officer and the most senior creative executive within the company, will carry on in his role, also reporting to Perry.

Furthermore, Jessica Tasler Noble has been appointed as the Chief Culture Officer at Hallmark Media, transferring from the Hallmark Product & Retail division. She takes over from Sabrina Wiewel, who is now serving as the Executive Vice President of Crayola Studios.
