At the Halloween Horror Nights events, the “Fallout” Haunted Houses are themed around a television series set in the year 2296, following a nuclear disaster that wiped out civilization. The world now resembles a desolate and violent wasteland filled with mutated creatures and animals. However, some gentle people have found safety underground in luxury fallout shelters called Vaults.
What can you expect inside the Fallout Haunted House?
According to Universal Studios’ announcement, the HHN Fallout experience starts “underneath in Vault 33, where guests join vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she flees a gruesome massacre, uncovering a sinister hidden truth along the way. After this, visitors move to the surface, where they must avoid assaults from Scavengers and Raiders – desperate survivors ready to go to any length to stay alive – as well as mutated cockroaches called RAD Roaches.
While traversing the desolate Wasteland as visitors, they’ll pass by emblematic spots such as the Super Duper Mart and meet The Ghoul, a timeless bounty hunter who’s survived radiation for centuries. They’ll also encounter a youthful squire named Maximus, whose impressive T-60 armor will leave them in awe. At every twist and turn of this authentically chilling haunted house, fans will wonder if they’ll ever be able to break free from the nightmares of The Wasteland.
