According to an exclusive report by Deadline, Infiniti has been confirmed as one of the three main characters in the upcoming streaming series, alongside Dowd. This development brings the show a step closer to receiving approval from Hulu. Interestingly, Infiniti will portray Agnes, a character who shares a significant connection with Elisabeth Moss’s character, June.

As a movie enthusiast, I grew up among the pioneers who matured under this fresh system. The narratives of these two young ladies are connected by none other than Aunt Lydia – a woman whose intricate past and unpredictable future reveal themselves in captivating and crucial ways. In Margaret Atwood’s latest masterpiece, ‘The Testaments‘, she delves deep into the core mechanisms of Gilead, compelling each character to confront their identity and the lengths they’re willing to go for what they hold dear.

In essence, many aspects from the original story continue in the Hulu adaptation, which unfolds 15 years after the events of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The series focuses on Aunt Lydia (Dowd), Agnes (Infiniti), and an as-yet uncast character named Daisy. Their lives intersect while they unearth secrets about Gilead and its resistance. The character of Agnes is intriguing, as it’s hinted at in the book that she may be June’s daughter; however, this connection could either remain implied or become more explicit in the new adaptation.

Given Agnes’ possible ancestry and Elisabeth Moss’ iconic portrayal of June, one can’t help but ponder if we’ll get to see her again in the show.
