Happy Birthday Jitendra Kumar: When Panchayat star joined TVF because he was unemployed and rest we know is history

As a dedicated follower and admirer of Jitendra Kumar, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of respect for this extraordinary man. His journey from unemployment to becoming one of the biggest names in the digital space is nothing short of inspiring.

Jitendra Kumar is currently a prominent figure in the digital world, and today marks his 34th birthday. Though he’s now an OTT sensation, you might be surprised to learn that acting found him during a period of unemployment. In an earlier interview with India.com, Kumar shared that TVF entered his life when he was jobless and eager for work.

In simpler terms, Jitendra pointed out that unemployment serves as a powerful educator, often pushing individuals into taking on any work due to necessity. At one point in his life, fresh from IIT, he struggled to find employment himself.

“Jitendra Kumar shared that for about 4-5 months, he persistently sent emails and resumes, yet nothing materialized. Despite others landing fantastic jobs and enticing compensation packages, his luck seemed to elude him. It’s an unusual sensation, he admitted, as the only job he was offered was with TVF, a position that required him to juggle multiple tasks and also presented some acting possibilities.”

Jitendra stated, “I accomplished it with a mix of agony and delight.” I’m grateful that this rising talent accepted the job because we, as viewers, are well-aware of his exceptional skills. On TVF, Jitendra played various roles, including Permanent Roommates, TVF Pitchers, TVF Bachelors, ImMature, and TVF Tripling. However, it was his lead role in the successful Kota Factory franchise that truly catapulted him to fame.

A little over a year after its debut, Jitendra was given the opportunity to star in another popular show known as “Panchayat”. These two shows significantly altered the course of Jitendra’s career and his previous hardships have since become inspiring chapters in history that others can learn from.

In 2014, Kumar first appeared on the big screen with a minor role in “Shuruaat Ka Interval” and later in “Gone Kesh.” However, it was his performance as a man in love with Ayushmann Khurrana’s character in “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” that skyrocketed his fame almost immediately. More recently, Jitendra has been seen on the streaming platform Zee5 in “Lantrani.”
