According to Variety, the news was announced by JB Perrette, Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming chief, at a tech and media conference hosted by Wells Fargo. The third season of the show, which continues in the dark comedy style of its previous seasons, will be set in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand. New cast members include Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Walton Goggins, and BLACKPINK’s LISA, while Natasha Rothwell will return as Belinda.
Besides The White Lotus, Perrette also shared that Euphoria season three is planning a comeback in 2026 since filming will start in January 2025. In contrast, The Last of Us season two is gearing up for its Spring 2025 debut, and the new Game of Thrones prequel titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is set to air by the end of 2025.
The much-anticipated TV adaptation of HBO’s Harry Potter has been pushed back to a 2027 release date due to ongoing casting decisions. As we approach 2026 and move into 2027, we embark on a ten-year journey with the Harry Potter series, which we are incredibly thrilled about. In fact, by the time we reach this series, it may very well be one of the most significant events.
