Amazon’s MGM Studios holds the authority to bring forth the eagerly anticipated reboot of the iconic series, Masters of the Universe. Following over a decade and a half of development limbo, the fresh He-Man film started shooting last month, with Nicholas Galitzine donning the role of our hero, also known as Prince Adam. Awaiting us for more than a year before it graces the silver screen, today we catch our first glimpse of Galitzine in action as He-Man, and it’s the Sword of Power that steals the limelight.
To put it simply, even though this can be considered an initial glance, it’s noticeable that Galitzine’s facial features are not prominent here. What stands out instead is the sword, which takes center stage. The actor manages to display his impressive physique in the role, but it’s the Sword of Power that catches our attention.
I’m interested in purchasing this Sword of Power from Masters of the Universe. It’s not for transforming me into a powerful hero like He-Man or battling Skeletor, but I’d love to feel its weight and see it used in action next year, especially during the scenes where Nicholas Galitzine transforms into Prince Adam and when the sword clashes with Jared Leto’s Skeletor.
More to come…
