In simpler terms, James Marsters, who starred alongside Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Buffy Summers, fondly remembered director Joss Whedon as a “wonderful soul,” “extremely intelligent,” and “hilariously funny.” Actor Alyson Hannigan, another cast member of Buffy, posted photos and reminisced about the warm energy Trachtenberg brought to the set. Emma Caulfield described the loss as feeling like losing a “little sister” from their Buffy TV family. David Boreanaz and Ed Westwick, a co-star from Gossip Girl, expressed their condolences via Instagram stories.

Melissa Gilbert, who acted alongside Trachtenberg in “A Hol holiday for Love,” conveyed sadness towards his family. Often regarded as her breakthrough performance, the movie “Harriet the Spy” featured a young Trachtenberg acting alongside Rosie O’Donnell, Vanessa Lee Chester, and Gregory Smith. In an interview with US Weekly, O’Donnell expressed her condolences for the actress, revealing:
