‘Heartbroken.’ A Ton Of Hallmark Stars (And Some GAF Stars Too) Reach Out After The Crossword Mysteries’ Brennan Elliott Confirms His Wife Has Died

Sadly, Brennan Elliott‘s wife Camilla Row lost her battle with cancer on March 22. As a beloved actor in Hallmark’s Crossword Mysteries and romantic comedies, Elliott has received heartfelt condolences from both his fellow Hallmark colleagues and actors from the competing network, Great American Family, following this tragic news.

In 2018, Camilla Row was initially diagnosed with stomach cancer. However, it wasn’t until April 2022, when the cancer returned and she was given a Stage 4 diagnosis, that Brennan Elliott first publicly addressed this health issue. Elliott shared the sad news of her passing in an emotional Instagram post featuring a photo of Camilla smiling on a beach.

Many people close to Brennan Elliott and those who admire him were aware of the hardships his family has experienced throughout the years. A fellow Hallmark star, Marcus Rosner (known for his role on the series ‘UnREAL’, which can be streamed with a Netflix subscription), commended Elliott for his compassionate nature, extending help to others despite the tumultuous state of his own family. Rosner expressed this sentiment by saying:

I’ll always remember the moment when you courageously greeted fan after fan at the Hallmark Christmas Experience, giving each one your undivided attention and kindness. Many opened up about their personal struggles, and you stayed for hours, truly connecting with them. It was truly awe-inspiring. I could see how draining it was for you. That act spoke volumes about your unwavering dedication to honoring her memory and the trials faced by your family. I hope you all can find some peace.

The Hallmark Channel and many of its actors also added their comments, writing:

  • Hallmark: We are heartbroken for you and your family. We are so sorry.
  • Tamera Mowry: Oh Gosh, I’m so so sorry Brennan. My heart is breaking for you and your family. 😢💔
  • Nikki DeLoach: I’m so so sorry, my friend. Absolutely gutted for you and the kids. Wrapping you up in all my love and prayers. ❤️‍🩹
  • Holly Robinson Peete: 💔💔💔💔🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

  • Ashley Williams: Oh my sweet friend I love you so much. This is the nightmare. Please know I am right here for you and the kids and holding you so tight in my heart right now.

Most recently, Brennan Elliott teamed up once more with regular acting partner Lacey Chabert for “His & Hers” on Hallmark in 2024. Previously, in 2023, he was involved in the Countdown to Christmas production of “Ms. Christmas Comes to Town“, a story where the main character receives a life-altering diagnosis of a terminal illness.

Regardless of Brennan Elliott staying with Hallmark, some of his former colleagues who moved to GAF extended their condolences upon Camilla Row’s demise.

  • Cameron Mathison: This brought me to tears my beautiful friend. We’ve talked many times through her journey and I just love you all so much. I’m so so sorry for your loss and may you hold onto her beautiful memories for a lifetime
  • Jen Lilley: Oh my goodness Brennan, I am so sorry and heartbroken for you all to read this. I will be keeping you all in my prayers constantly. This is a wonderful tribute and I know Cami and Jesus are proud of you and the kids and how much love you share then, now, and for all eternity.

Absolutely, allegiance towards a particular network isn’t nor should it be significant when compared to what Brennan Elliott and his family have experienced and continue to endure. It’s heartwarming to observe numerous Hallmark actors and GAF alumni extending their support.

At TopMob, we share our heartfelt sympathies with the actor, knowing that we all look forward to seeing him in upcoming Hallmark movies. However, we also hope that he spends whatever time is necessary for his personal wellbeing and that of his family.
