Heidi Gardner and golfer Bobby Ray have been added to the lineup for the upcoming movie that will feature Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jimmy Tatro, Michael Peña, Fortune Feimster, Bill Camp, Billy Eichner, Tyler Lofton, Rachel Hilson, Rory Scovel, Bobby Cannavale, and Regina Hall. These are the actors who were previously announced to be part of the cast.
The central theme of “Judgment Day” revolves around a freshly-released convict, portrayed by Zac Efron, who seizes an unscheduled TV courtroom in a dramatic turn of events. He accuses the self-centered judge, played by Will Ferrell, of ruining his life through an unfair ruling. At this point, specifics about Gardner and Ray’s roles for the film remain undisclosed. As of now, there is no announced release date for this previously untitled production.
After directing Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon for Amazon MGM’s “You’re Cordially Invited,” which started streaming earlier this year, Stoller is now reconnecting with Amazon MGM. The upcoming project, titled “Judgment Day,” has Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown of Gloria Sanchez Productions as producers, along with Stoller from Stoller Global Solutions.
Gardner is set to wrap up her eighth season on “Saturday Night Live” towards the end of this month, and she’ll also appear in the final season of Netflix’s show “You.” Besides these, she has been recognized for shows like Apple TV+’s “Shrinking,” Netflix productions such as “Otherhood” and the Adam Sandler-starring “Hustle,” and lends her voice to characters in “Leo” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.”
