Hera Pheri 3: Priyadarshan BREAKS SILENCE after Akshay Kumar’s production house sues Paresh Rawal over his exit from comedy-caper

In the days following Paresh Rawal’s departure from Hera Pheri 3, TopMob broke the news that Akshay Kumar had filed a lawsuit against the veteran actor due to his allegedly unprofessional conduct. More recently, the filmmaker has also supported Kumar’s production house‘s decision, asserting they have every justification for taking such action.

In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, I, as a lifestyle expert, discussed the escalating tension between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. As a director involved in the project, I expressed my perspective on the situation. I emphasized that I reserve the right to take necessary legal actions, given the substantial financial investment I’ve made into the film using my own hard-earned resources. Furthermore, I disclosed that Akshay Kumar had acquired the movie rights from our producer Feroz Nadiadwala through a legitimate legal transaction.

According to Priyadarshan, who is working with Paresh and Akshay in the upcoming movie Bhooth Bangla, he was asked by Akshay to verify with both Paresh and Suniel before starting the film, and both had agreed. However, he found out later that they didn’t inform us about why this incident occurred.

The director mentioned that since he has no personal stake in this, but Kumar has put his funds at risk, he must resort to firm measures. Reportedly, Paresh Rawal and the director haven’t exchanged words up until now.

Additionally, someone acquainted with the court case details added that the publication was informed that Rawal has shown a clear lack of respect for ethical or business conduct standards. Moreover, the actor asserted that if he didn’t wish to be part of the film, he would have declined before penning his signature on the contract, accepting the payment, and causing the producer to invest such a substantial amount on the production.

On the other hand, Paresh Rawal, reacting to the accusations, stated, “I am not aware of this yet.”

Back in the early months of this very year, the esteemed director Priyadarshan made an exciting announcement on his birthday – Hera Pheri 3 would be graced by none other than Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal! Yet, just a few days ago, it was confirmed that our beloved Paresh Rawal will no longer be part of the franchise. Rest assured, this decision wasn’t due to any creative conflicts at all.

Conversely, Akshay Kumar’s film production company has issued a legal warning to Rawal, requesting compensation of approximately 250 million rupees. This sum represents their investment in the film, which they stand to lose due to Rawal’s unprofessional actions.

In the midst of the confusion surrounding Hera Pheri 3, Akshay recently declared that he has finished filming for Bhooth Bangla just a short while ago.
