More recently, Actor Rajpal Yadav spoke up about rumors of death threats coming from Pakistan. A report filed by Yadav prompted authorities in Mumbai to open an investigation, which is currently being managed by the Amboli Police Station. Following the arrival of menacing emails believed to have originated in Pakistan, the actor publicly acknowledged that he had contacted both local law enforcement and the cybercrime department about this troubling matter.
As reported by IANS, Rajpal Yadav chose to address the issue through a recorded message and made it clear he preferred not to delve deeper into the topic. He stated that at present, the relevant authorities are conducting an investigation regarding the menacing email they received.
The actor indicated that he reached out to both the police and the cybercrime unit, and since then, he has chosen not to discuss the matter further. In simpler terms, he said, “I contacted the cybercrime department and the police, and since then, I haven’t spoken to anyone about it.
He also added that discussing the matter is unnecessary since he lacks complete details.
Based on a complaint filed by Radha Rajpal Yadav, wife of Rajpal, the Amboli Police initiated a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 351(3) of the Bombay Police Act against unknown parties. This event took place on December 14, 2024, when Rajpal received a menacing email from someone claiming to be Bishnu, using the email address ‘Don’.
comedian Kapil Sharma, entertainer Sugandha Mishra, and choreographer Remo D’Souza, along with others, received identical threatening emails from Pakistan.
As a devoted recipient, I want to emphasize that the message I received wasn’t intended as a marketing ploy, but rather as a genuine, urgent warning. I’ve been instructed to treat it with utmost confidentiality. Authorities have verified that the email originated in Pakistan, and they are currently investigating the matter thoroughly.
Currently, Mumbai Police are focusing intensely on the ongoing dangers aimed at numerous celebrities following last year’s unfortunate shooting of politician Baba Siddique near his Bandra residence, which was allegedly carried out by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This incident has led to Salman Khan taking measures to heighten his security, such as installing bulletproof windows on his balcony.
Last week, Saif Ali Khan endured a violent incident at his residence in Bandra, where he was repeatedly stabbed by an intruder, inflicting critical wounds on him. The escalating incidents of threats and assaults have ignited widespread apprehension regarding the security of Bollywood celebrities.
