Use one of the newly acquired keys to open a nearby cell, freeing Amusei. He shares a cell with Theranis and knows the whereabouts of the Lost Histories of Tamriel book; however, he is reluctant to disclose its location until you assist him in escaping the castle.

How To Help Amusei Sneak Out Of The Castle In Oblivion Remastered

In “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered”, it’s advisable to assist Amusei in sneaking out at around 2 AM since most guards are likely asleep. With the spare key, unlock the wooden door from the wine cellar that leads to the dining hall. Ascend the stairs to discover a pantry and someone moving outside.
