‘Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story’ Trailer Sees Hunter King, Tyler Hynes Spark Romance

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for romantic Hallmark movies and a deep-rooted love for football, I must admit that my excitement levels are skyrocketing for the upcoming premiere of “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”. The trailer has all the makings of a classic holiday flick – a charming small-town girl, a handsome football bigwig, and a heartwarming love story set against the backdrop of America’s favorite sport.

In the trailer for “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” it appears that Hunter King and Tyler Hynes are developing a romantic relationship.

Hallmark collaborated with the NFL to create a holiday movie featuring a story about a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and the team’s fan engagement director developing feelings for each other. This film doesn’t draw from any particular events, but it follows Taylor Swift’s recent high-profile romance with Chiefs player Travis Kelce that stirred up attention in the football world last year.

Alana Higman (King) confidently believes that her family’s long-standing status as die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fans positions them strongly for the ‘Fan of the Year’ award. Derrick (Hynes), in charge of fan interaction, is responsible for assessing Alana and her family against the other finalists. As they spend time together, it seems there’s a connection between them, but when Alana’s grandfather’s (Ed Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs good luck winter hat goes missing, she starts questioning her faith in fate, destiny, and even their future together – unless some Christmas magic can intervene to save the day.

Beyond Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Christine Ebersole, and Richard Riehle, the ensemble features Donna Kelce (real-life Travis Kelce’s mom), Jenna Bush Hager, Coach Andy Reid, Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman Jr., Clyde Edwards-Helaire, George Karlaftis, KC Wolf, Richard Christy, Taylen Biggs, Mayor Quinton Lucas, Trent Green, Christian Okoye, and Matt McMullen in various roles.

“Scoring the Holidays: A Tale of Kansas City Devotion,” directed by John Putch, will air on Hallmark on November 30 at 8 PM (Eastern and Pacific Time).
