Honkai Star Rail Version 3.2: New Features and Optimizations

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been eagerly following Honkai Star Rail since it hit the scene, and let me tell you, it’s only gotten better! In just a few days, we’ll reach a monumental milestone – the game’s second anniversary on April 26. And what a celebration it will be, with tons of rewards and events up for grabs! But before we get to that, there’s something even more exciting coming our way: Version 3.2 drops on April 8! Can’t wait to jump back in and see what new adventures await!

In the third major update for Honkai Star Rail, titled “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose” (Version 3.2), a brand-new 5-star character named Castorice (Remembrance, Quantum) will debut during the initial phase. Additionally, popular characters Fugue (Nihility, Fire), Acheron (Nihility, Lightning), and Jiaoqiu (Nihility, Fire) are set for a three-way rerun. Moreover, fresh additions and enhancements to existing features are on the horizon, aiming to streamline activities for adventurers known as Trailblazers.

“Stellar Convergence” Exchange Shop

In the upcoming version 3.2, a novel exchange store featuring limited characters and light cones will make its debut. Initially, players can swap for the unique characters Ruan Mei (with traits of Harmony and Ice) and Luocha (Abundance and Imaginary), or opt for the standard banner characters such as Himeko, Welt, Bronya, Gepard, Clara, Yanqing, and Bailu.

3. “The Untouchable Realm” (Destruction)

For the standard 5-star Light Cones, a simple and straightforward description could be:

To obtain the 5-star character you desire in version 3.2, you should take part in temporary events. However, these Golden Companion Spirits and Light Cone Memory Shards don’t have an expiration date. For the Light Cones, you will require Light Cone Memory Shards.

  • From Version 3.2 to 3.4, Trailblazers Level 4 and above will automatically receive 1 Golden Companion Spirit.
  • Participate in Cherished Recollection in Version 3.2. Gather a number of Oneiric Shards to receive one Golden Companion Spirit and four Light Cone Memory Shards.
  • You can exchange two Silver Companion Spirits for one Golden Companion Spirit.
  • The Light Cone Memory Shard is added to Nameless Glory. Reaching a certain level will give you one Shard (if free) and an additional one if you buy it.

Character Warp Optimization

Starting from version 3.2, I, as a player, will have the opportunity to personalize my Character Event Warps! This customization extends to even non-spotlighted 5-star characters on the banner. The inaugural group of limited 5-star characters that can be obtained includes Seele (The Hunt, Quantum), Blade (Destruction, Wind), and Fu Xuan (Preservation, Quantum).

Pioneers have the option to choose as many as seven characters, either from the regular 5-star group or the initial set of exclusive characters. It’s advisable to opt for the limited characters and incorporate standard ones that are beneficial to your current squads.

Supplement Materials Optimization

Following update 3.2 in Honkai Star Rail, players won’t need to frequently switch to the Synthesize menu once they accumulate sufficient low-rarity materials. The interface will automatically display a “Material Synthesis” button if you lack the necessary materials, streamlining the process for those who often enhance their character and equipment stats, thereby saving valuable time.

Relic Farming Optimization

Previously, it was common for Trailblazers to have overfilled inventories because they often received an excess of low-ranked Relics after completing numerous runs. Sorting through the items could be challenging as each run yielded more than five Relics with differing rarities.

In the version 3.2 update of Honkai Star Rail, players now have an automated salvaging feature for unwanted Relics. You can opt for auto-salvage of Relics rated 2-star and below, 3-star and below, or 4-star and below. If you prefer, you can disable this function as well. This new feature significantly reduces the time spent on disposing of low-rarity Relics.

Smart Discard Feature

In the Honkai Star Rail update 3.2, you’ll find a fresh addition: an organization tool for your Relics in your inventory. At the base of the inventory menu, there’s a new “Smart Declutter” button. This feature will present some options and intelligently sort through your Relics, marking ones that can be discarded.

For Relic items, there’s an option to filter out main stats marked as “Not suitable for any recommended character.” This helps in eliminating Relics whose main stats are unsuitable for your character’s build or unnecessary. Additionally, there’s a sub-stats filter to provide more specific sorting of the Relics.

Among the notable enhancements, players can now easily sift through upgraded relics too. This feature enables them to weed out relics with poor primary stats or secondary attributes.

Mass Superimposition Feature

Starting with version 3.2 of Honkai Star Rail, a new Mass Overlay function is being introduced. This feature allows players to simultaneously overlay multiple 4-star Light Cones. You’ll find the “Mass Overlay” option within the Light Cone inventory menu. When selected, you’ll be presented with an interface displaying all eligible Light Cones for overlay. Here, you can choose which ones to include or exclude from the process.

Realm of the Strange and Garden of Plenty Optimization

Starting with Honkai Star Rail version 3.2, both the Realm of the Strange and the Garden of Plenty will offer combined rewards. This means that throughout the event duration, players can potentially receive all double reward opportunities without needing to wait for daily updates.

These fresh improvements and enhancements are delightful upgrades that simplify things for Trailblazers. Additionally, it’s thrilling to have an opportunity to obtain Ruan Mei or Luocha without having to invest a large number of passes or actual money because they are highly effective characters in Honkai Star Rail.
