Honor of Kings Regional Leagues kick off, with spot in the World Cup on the line

  • Honor of Kings: World sees the first of its Regional Leagues start today
  • Participants are duking it out for spots at the World Cup this year
  • 18 teams at the KWC will duke it out for the top prize in Riyadh

As summer draws nearer, it’s no wonder that the path to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh for top-tier series is becoming clearer. Today marks the beginning of the competition with Honor of Kings leading the way, launching their Regional Leagues first!

7 regional tournaments, spanning locations such as the Philippines and Brazil, will have teams vying for the title of regional champion. Additionally, these competitions also serve as a means to secure a prestigious spot in the Honor of Kings World Cup, which is scheduled for later this year in Riyadh.

As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to be part of the spectacle where 18 teams go head-to-head in a fierce competition for supremacy within the KWC itself. For the first time, qualifiers from the Regional League will lock horns with the champions of the KPL Spring season, adding an extra layer of intensity and adrenaline to the already electrifying esports experience.
