Honor of Kings teams up with Bleach for new Thousand-year Blood War collaboration

  • Bleach has seen a major uptick in popularity, reinforced by its presence in Honor of Kings
  • A major new collaboration is on show here, with four event-exclusive skins
  • Jump in between June 28th and July 16th for a new event-exclusive mode

Without a doubt, you may find yourself growing weary of my recurring remarks, but the renowned shonen series by Tite Kubo, Bleach, has once again captured attention. Not only does the consistent success of the mobile spin-off, Bleach: Brave Souls show this, but now a significant collaboration between Bleach and the popular MOBA game Honor of Kings is on the horizon!

Starting from June 28th and ending on July 16th, the event centers around the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline. This collaboration will introduce four unique skins for characters: Musashi (Ichigo Kurosaki), Feyd (Byakuya Kuchiki), Hou Yi (Uryu Ishida) and Bai Qi (Shihakusho). These skins are exclusive to the event.

From June 28th to July 16th (in Southeast Asia & South Korea) and from June 28th to July 27th (in North America, Brazil, and Latin America), the first two items will be up for grabs in the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Lucky Draw.

Hell’s bells and buckets of blood

Hou Yi and Bai Qi will be available from other events and will be on direct sale. But it won’t just be through snazzy new threads that the cast of Bleach will make an appearance. In the new game mode, Support Strike, you’ll be tasked with acquiring fragments throughout a match, and when you have enough, you can summon either Ichigo Kurosaki or Byakuya Kuchiki to help out!

Additionally to those already available, starting from July 1st, you will have the opportunity to participate in team battles consisting of five versus five players. Completing these matches grants you Normal Skin shards and Dragon Crystals. Accumulate enough and trade them for the collaborative skin featuring Hou Yi!
