In what location did we find Harry Vanderspeigle (played by Alan Tudyk) mysteriously vanish towards the end of the previous week’s episode of “Resident Alien”?
In “Soul Providers,” penned by Nastaran Dibai and Aaron Wiener, I found myself unexpectedly called before the Galactic Housing Council for various alleged misdeeds. Among these charges were my reluctance to depart Earth, disrupting the Greys’ Yellowstone mission, abducting a human child, making a break for it with Bruce (Jinkx Monsoon) from their lunar base, and, most grievously of all, freeing a Mantid alien into the wild.
In a recent sneak peek at the production process (as shown above), director and executive producer Robert Duncan McNeill expressed that this was another chance to bring authentic science fiction elements into the series, rather than staying on Earth.

Resident Alien Season 4, Episode 6 used same technology as The Mandalorian

The Galactic Housing Council’s grand celestial base was constructed using The Volume (also known as StageCraft). Originating from Industrial Light & Magic, a renowned visual effects studio, this technology offers a virtual setting, McNeill clarifies. “It’s similar to being in a real-time video game,” he adds.
Raphael Gaudin, the Virtual Production Supervisor, elaborates: “The LED panels are only part of the story. When you step inside, you notice a wealth of supporting technology behind them. What sets this particular wall apart is that it’s not merely a large screen. It tracks the camera’s position in three-dimensional space, giving the illusion that you’re navigating through real space when viewed through the lens.
Eventually, the Council agrees to make an arrangement with Harry: If he doesn’t manage to eliminate the Mantid, the Greys will be granted access to his recently developed human spirit, but they must abandon their attempts to recover the Hawthornes’ baby. On the other hand, Harry will also regain his alien energy, provided a Council-assigned overseer deems him deserving of it at an appropriate time.
