If you’re someone who strives to collect all trophies and achievements in a game, you’re likely familiar with the challenge of interpreting their descriptions, which are often ambiguous and don’t provide clear instructions about how to achieve them beyond a vague suggestion.
In the game Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, there are numerous trophies and achievements that leave you pondering on how they can be accomplished. Take the “Shouldn’t Have Done That” achievement as an example, which tasks you with burning the Strawfather Hay, but leaves you puzzled about what the Strawfather represents. Fortunately, this guide clarifies the matter for you.
How To Find A Strawfather
In the game of Cuanacht, The Strawfather is a unique adversary encountered exclusively during Act 2 and its subsequent region. To locate this foe, you’ll need to advance more deeply within the narrative before you can engage with it.
Once you’ve completed that task, you’ll be able to locate a pair of Strawfathers only in a specific spot, which is the hay field situated at the Farmland location, slightly northeast from Cuanacht city.
In this area, you’ll likely encounter a couple or a few Strawfather foes wandering about. Defeating them should assist you in earning the trophy/achievement.
How To Unlock The Shouldn’t Have Done That Trophy/Achievement
How To Burn Strawfather’s Hay

To acquire the “Shouldn’t Have Done That” trophy/achievement, it’s essential to begin with a fire-based ability or weapon first. This could be the fire spell you obtained from the tutorial area, such as “Burning Amber”, which you should still possess. Alternatively, it can also be any weapon that has been infused with fire, so essentially anything capable of causing flames will work.
To accomplish this, simply activate the “burn status” on the Strawfather. This can be achieved either by casting a fire spell repeatedly or by persistently attacking it with a weapon imbued with fire, until the required gauge is fully charged.
Once this task is completed, you’ll notice that the straw on the Strawfather will be ablaze. After the burning straw is removed, several tiny enemy straws (let’s call them “Strawhay enemies”) will emerge from it. Therefore, be ready to vanquish these foes when they appear.
The reason this trophy/achievement is named “Shouldn’t Have Done That” is because you accidentally burned the Strawfather’s hay. Now, as a result, you have more adversaries to handle. At least you managed to accomplish it!
