How To Craft The Festering Armor Set In Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon

In the immersive world of Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, not every quest comes knocking at your door. More often than not, it’s up to us, the adventurers, to seek out those in need and engage in meaningful dialogues. These interactions are crucial as they reveal if someone needs our assistance. And rest assured, they will honor our efforts with rewards that make our journey worthwhile.

Occasionally, despite accepting a mission, you might find yourself without a clear indicator of where to go or what action to take next. The mission details may have been subtly revealed in your chat with the mission provider, so it’s crucial to listen carefully during that conversation if you want to successfully complete the task.

How To Get The Festering Armor

Once you’ve skillfully made the Corpse Eater Armor Set and displayed it to the blacksmith named Osbryht, your subsequent mission involves crafting another armor set, which is known as the Festering Armor.

Since you’re aware that you should make the armor instead of taking it from fallen enemies, you have a good understanding of its functionality by this point.

You require the construction of two armor components, specifically the Rotten Helmet and the Rotten Breastplate. Fortunately, they share the same types of materials, making the process a tad more manageable.

The materials you need are the following:

  • First, you need some Iron Ore. This requires you to have a Pickaxe first, which you can either find or buy from a shop. With the Pickaxe, you will be able to mine the iron chunks found around the map. Such locations are usually around the shore, like The Shores of Avalon, Sunken Village, and Smuggler’s Bay.
  • The second material you need is Leather, which is easy to get as you can purchase it from the blacksmith Osbryht himself for a cheap price. Alternatively, if you feel like hunting, you can hunt some animals that have a chance to drop it.
  • The third and final material is Bloodclot, which requires you to kill some enemies to get it. These are common drops from undead enemies found south of the map around Blood Lake or the Shores of Avalon.

Once you’ve collected all the essential crafting components, you will be prepared to create the armor you require. Now, all that remains is setting up a blacksmith’s table or utilizing a bonfire, assuming you’ve unlocked the Handcrafting option for it.

Alright, buddy! Over there, you’ll spot the materials needed for crafting. Just go ahead and craft those bad boys, then make your way to Osbryht. Once you’ve presented them to him, the quest will be complete, and you’ll snag some XP. The armor you’ve just made? It’s all yours! Enjoy the loot.
