As a devoted Fortnite player with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently tell you that the quest to find Captain Jack Sparrow‘s misplaced Jar of Dirt is quite the adventure!

In the Fortnite Cursed Sails event, one of the Pirate Code missions requires you to locate a stray Jar of Soil and bring it back to Captain Jack Sparrow.

Discovering a tiny jar in Fortnite’s expansive and ever-changing map can be quite a challenge. However, having completed this mission myself, I can now provide some guidance on the specific location for retrieving it.

How to find the Jar of Dirt

The Jar of Dirt is situated to the south of the river, beneath the Nitrodome landmark, and is close to Orchard Station, which is partially hidden in the sand. Take a look at the mark I’ve made for you on the map to help you find it precisely.

Outside the train car that came off its tracks, you’ll spot it to the left of the chest. Go over there to grab it, and you’ll have accomplished the initial task of this quest.
