Intriguingly hidden in each region, these cryptic structures house some of the most challenging puzzles that will test your wit and patience to the limit!

Each Pargrun Cache holds at least three treasure chests, but retrieving them in Shatterscarp will prove challenging due to the intricate riddles you must decipher. Here’s a step-by-step guide to collecting all of the chests.

Obtaining the treasure chests from each Pargrun Cache is possible, but it won’t be easy in Shatterscarp because you’ll need to solve some tricky puzzles. Here’s a clear pathway for gathering all these chests.

Where To Find Shatterscarp Pargrun Cache

To locate the Pargrun Cache of Shatterscarp, you need to navigate towards the eastern part of the map, specifically where it’s marked as ‘Shark’s Teeth’. Since you’ll be in this area anyway for the main quest, you won’t have to make a special detour for this cache.

Make your way towards the southeastern section of Shark’s Teeth, and you’ll spot an exceptionally well-preserved structure that houses the treasure. The approach here is quite straightforward; simply step down carefully over the debris.

How To Fully Explore Shatterscarp Pargrun Cache

1. In the hidden spot you’re looking for, the first chest is situated right at the top as you make your way to the small, private area illuminated by purple light.

2. After acquiring that chest, navigate down the debris and position yourself on one of the wooden beams running through the space below.

3. Now, here’s what you do next:

a. Follow the wooden beam to the left until it ends at a platform with a pressure plate.

b. Stand on the pressure plate to lower a nearby wall, revealing another chest.

c. Open that chest to obtain an item or items inside.

d. Proceed forward and jump onto the next wooden beam, following it until you reach a small alcove with a glowing orb.

e. Interact with the glowing orb to activate a switch, causing a nearby door to open.

f. Enter the newly opened area, where you’ll find another chest waiting for you.

4. Congratulations! You have completed these steps and can now continue your adventure.

  • As a keen explorer, I came across a cage at the same height as the wooden supports, easily within my jump range. To access the main chambers, I found two possible ways: by wielding a frost weapon or employing an Eye of Rymrgand, which would shatter the cage open for me.

    Initially, rotate the wheel located on the right-hand side of the room. This action will cause a door underneath to open. Subsequently, raise both the left and right levers, leaving the other two in their lowered positions. This maneuver should reveal a door on your left with a purple chest behind it.

  • Inside this very room, there’s a less conspicuous second entryway waiting for you. To reach it, find the switch located on the structure to the right and activate it. This action will unlock both a golden treasure chest and the Ornate Pargrun Key for your possession.

    The golden chest will contain a rare unique clothing item.

  • In the end, you can leap your way down to overcome the adversaries first, then seize the primary golden treasure in the hoard. Doing so will reward you with the Skald’s Brigandine special armor.

Where To Use Ornate Pargrun Key

After obtaining the Ornate Pargrun Key, you can return to either the Shark’s Teeth party camp or Tago’s Tower beacon. From there, proceed to the area slightly above where “Shark’s” is marked on your map. Upon reaching this spot, a large locked door will be visible immediately.

This decorative key unlocks the door, but don’t expect to find any exotic loot inside. Instead, you’ll likely come across the corpse of a Pargrun constructor, along with some high-value items tinted in shades of purple.
